After publication, third parties have 60-days to make objections or comments about your proposed trademark. DINAPI will consider these when reviewing the application.
5. Review of your application
DINAPI will conduct an in-depth review of the application once the 60-day period is up. It will verify that the application is in compliance to all local laws and that no substantive objections have been filed.
6. Trademark approved
Once the process is complete and DINAPI has determined that the trademark can legally be granted, it will issue an opinion to the General Directorate of Industrial Property. This will either approve or deny the application.
