Yomo born in Chicago, Illinois was raised in the barrio of Tres Puntos, Humacao, Puerto Rico. Before becoming a professional artist, he used to work as a handyman on Puerto Rico's Palmas del Mar Beach.
He is the youngest of three kids. Yomo is the father of 3 kids of two different women. His first wife was Gloria and mother of his first child Jovan Alberto who was born on July 28, 1998. His second wife was Jainel Ayala and mother of his two youngest kids Mia Nikole (born on April 21, 2006) and Ayan Alberto (born on April 4, 2007).
