Juice WRLD has a second posthumous record in production.
On Thursday, Juice’s estate announced that Fight against DemonsExpected to be released next month. The news came in a 43-second trailer posted on the late rapper’s Twitter account.
This trailer shows Juice WRLD out on the road engaging fans and recording at the studio as well as Juice talking about his mental health issues.
An announcement at the beginning of the video says:
“You are not your struggles. Addiction, anxiety, depression do not define you.”
“One of the greatest artists of our generation shared his own battle.”
In a statement on Fighting Demons, Juice WRLD’s mother Carmela Wallace shared:
“There was nothing Jarad ‘Juice WRLD’ Higgins enjoyed more than delivering new music to his millions of fans around the world.
Jarad left behind an incrediblely rich music library that will continue to be enjoyed by his many fans for the next few years. He was always open about his troubles and his musical talent allowed him to express what was in his heart through his music.
His family and friends never lost hope and never stopped supporting him. Today, Fighting Demons will release a new album. For all those struggling with mental and/or addiction, we encourage you to keep fighting the good fight. You can continue receiving free support via LiveFree999.org created in his honor.”
Fight against DemonsOn December 10, streaming services will be available.
Also confirmed that in addition to the posthumous album, HBO will be concurrently releasing a documentary.
However, fans were given a taste of what’s to come on the LP as the lead single from the album “Already Dead” was released Friday.
