Wale‘s Folarin IIOne of the most important Hip-Hop albums of the year. Wale has announced a world tour after dazzling his fans with wordplay and message on the new album.
Twitter revealed that the date for the show was set by a DMV native. Blue MoonThis tour, which begins in Nashville, TN on January 1st and ends in Memphis, TN March 2nd, will be broadcast live. Between, Wale will be visiting Atlanta, New York and Chicago as well as Oakland, Los Angeles, St. Louis and St. Louis.
The Folarin IIalbum is the result of a combination of heart-warming confessionals, braggadocious bars and social commentary. This album instantly makes it into the Album of the Year category.
J. Cole and Chris Brown are among the featured artists on this album, as is Rick Ross. The album is led by “Poke It Out” a flip of Q-Tip’s “Vivrant Thing.”
Last November, Wale shared the bittersweet “Flawed” with Gunna. And in 2019, his sixth studio album Wow… That’s Crazy spawned the #1 single “On Chill” featuring Jeremih, which received a 2020 BET Award nomination for “Best Collaboration.”
