Inter Milan are believed to be open to a deal for Marcos Alonso, currently on the books at Chelsea.
According to reports, the Blues wanted to sign Romelu Lukaku and have been linked to the Spaniard in the last summer transfer window.
Although the Italian outfit declined the offer, they are still interested in the 30-year-old’s services.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter are ‘ready to attack’ to sign the experienced left-back.
The Spain international’s current contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in the summer of 2023.
Alonso joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in the summer 2016. It was a deal valued at around $500,000 £24 million
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge he has played in 175 matches across all competitions. He scored 25 goals and created 18 assists.
The 30-year old has also won a Premier League title and a Champions League trophy during his time in London.
The talented left-back has been playing an important role for Thomas Tuchel’s side this season.
He has started six matches under the German flag in the Premier League this campaign, earning a goal as well as an assist.
Despite his great form, London could be tempted to cash-in on him soon considering his current age.
