Yuridia, is a Mexican singer and songwriter.
She took second place, winner of La Academia in its fourth edition, Azteca TV reality show where they compete for a prize of three million dollars and a recording contract in Mexico in 2005 which lasted four months, only months after releasing her debut album it exceeded all expectations by becoming one of the revelations of recent years in the Mexican music industry, as was the only female singer that has ever received a double diamond record for the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies sold in just the last 15 years in Mexico.
