The George Lopez Show is an American sitcom or comedy starring American comedian George Lopez of Mexican descent. The show premiered in the U.S. by ABC on March 22, 2002 to May 23, 2007.
The show premiered in 2002, during seasons 1 and 2 were the entire cast was Hispanic except for the actress Masiela Lusha who played Carmen Lopez in the last season when her character went to college she was replaced by actress Aime Garcia as George's niece and heiress to a fortune, Victoria. In May 2007 the series was canceled. Some episodes were rated in the U.S. as TV-14, for strong violence and profanity in Spanish, but Nick at Nite's TV-PG change. The series was presented on ABC until September 2007, after Nick at Nite took it and has been presenting it so far. In December 2009 all the cast gathered at the new talk show hosted by George Lopez, Lopez Tonigh. |
