Tercer Cielo's began singing in churches, Juan Carlos in the Dominican Republic and Evelyn in Phoenix where her father worked as a pastor. Taking advantage of her talent for music, Evelyn began her solo career recording her first album at age 13 with a repertoire of ballads that kept the influence she had been born and that always characterized her style.
In 2006 Evelyn and Juan Carlos were married after two years of courtship and Evelyn became part of Tercer Cielo after one of its key members and founders (Mark Yaroide) decided to pursue a solo career and left the group.
