Fernando Valenzuela was a lefty pitcher of Mexican origin who made ​​history with the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB) during the 80s. Born in Etchohuaquila , municipality of Navojoa , Sonora , Mexico , Fernando signed as a professional player for the Mayos de Navojoa in 1977, after a National Championship.
