Young talent from Southern California and surrounding states came out to d ... read more Elite TV News was at the BEAT SWAP MEET's 18th installment in the Historic Chinatown Plaza in Los Angeles, CA on June 24th, 2012. Many from around the country came out to China Town to support the 12 years old and under B-Kids Battles. Young talent from Southern California and surrounding states came out to display their top rock skills and creativity on the floor. One of the young stand outs that left his mark was nine year old Master Mace. Interviews included Battle Ax and Baby Ax from The S.O.G. Crew, BBoy Lil Rock and ENERGETIC from Killafornia, and DJ Mike Murda Carrasco from Super Crew.
Event also included Outdoor Vendor Village with Dozens of Artists & Designers, B-Girl/B-Boy Battles, Live Bands, Open Cut Session, Thud Rumble's Dirt Style Challenge, and Kids Arts & Crafts.
Over 45 Invited Collectors & Dealers, Selling Records from all over the world came to the BEAT SWAP MEET. Blues, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Metal, Psych, Punk, Rap, Reggae, Rock, Soul, & World -- 12″, LP's, & 45′s on VINYL could be heard and The Pioneer Steez Team were inspired by all of the sound of music. |
