Soda Stereo was born in early 1982 and consisting of Gustavo Cerati and Zeta Bosio and drummer Charly Alberti. After a year of forming as a trio, Soda Stereo played their first professional show at a nightclub and started touring the underground circuit of Buenos Aires becoming known, along with other emerging characters (Sumo, Los Twist, Melero, etc.) in places like Zero, Einstein and Stud Bar
On 14 December '84 at the Teatro Astros Soda Stereo released their first album, titled Soda Stereo, produced by Federico Moura Virus leader.
In March of '85 the band participates in the Chateau Rock Festival to 15,000 people, with the revelation of it. In October Soda Stereo played at the Rock & Pop, with INXS, Nina Hagen and John Mayall.
