His real name is Silvestre Francisco Dangond Corrales (Born May 12, 1980 in Urumita, La Guajira) is a Colombian Vallenato singer, composer and Timbales player. Dangond is considered one of the mainstream representatives of the "new wave" of vallenato musicians.
Since 1982, when he was two years old, his parents moved to Valledupar. First, he studied kindergarten on Jardín Nacional, then, the primary on Colegio Colombo-Ingles, and he finished his studies on Colegio Parroquial El Carmelo.
