Prima J is an American musical group, consisting of cousins Janelle Martinez and Jessica Martinez. Jessica, born on May 25, 1988 and Janelle was born on August 26, 1988 came up with the name "Prima J" by taking the letter "j" in their names, and "Primas" (ie female cousins), and put them together. Their debut album was released on June 17, 2008. Debuted in 2007 with the single "Rock star ".
