Playa Limbo is a Mexican pop band with jazz influences. They are originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Since 2006 Playa Limbo began to have success when their song "El Eco de Tu Voz" was placed as the main theme of the series of TV Azteca, "La Vida es una Cancion."
In March 2007 Playa Limbo signed by Sony BMG and soon released their first studio album Hotel songs which came off as a simple "El Eco de Tu Voz", "10 para las 10 " and "Tiempo de Ti." The group ventured into television Guadalajara to provide their song "Un Gancho al Corazón" to the soap opera of the same name aired on Star of the Mexican broadcaster Televisa.
Playa Limbo members are Maria Leon, a former member of the Mexican pop group T d 'Tila, on vocals and guitar, Jorge Correa on keyboards and programming, Angel Baillo on bass and vocals, and Servando Yañez on drums. |
