Panda is formed in the year 1997 by four teenagers with too much free time and energy. As time passes, they put together a repertoire of several issues, which were immortalized in a first demo. Promoting this material, Pepe, Riki, INGOs, and "Kross" got signed to Movic Records offered them a recording contract at the young age of 18. In 2000 their first record goes on sale , entitled "Arroz con Leche."
It was not until 2002 with the album "La Revancha del Pinche Charro" that Panda's name began to feature prominently in the national Spanish rock radio stations, due to their endless touring and energetic presentations. This material makes the band earned them a nomination for Best Banda Independiente in MTVLA Awards.
