Ñejo was introduced to the genre of reggaeton and hip-hop by his older brother. After his brother went to New York for vacation, Ñejo received all HIP-HOP music and 'Underground' which was on the street at the time. Ñejo had the advantage of hearing songs / beats very different from those in Puerto Rico at the time and movies such as BEAT STREET, all of the experience of the subject matter of his grandmother's house in Ponce.
