Miguel Angel Mateos Sorrentino was born on January 26, 1954 in Villa Pueyrredón, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since childhood Michael studied piano with his mother and then at the age of 12 years to form his first rock band that would name Cristal.
In 1969, Miguel with his rock band Glass he manages to reach the final of the competition organized by the Magazine PinUp.
In 1973, Miguel Mateos enters the "Conservatorio Municipal Manuel de Falla" and specializes in guitar, piano, singing and composition. Years later in 1976 left the Conservatory after a second coup that makes teaching without democracy is not the same.
Between 1979 and 1980 ZAS group is created with him in the lead on guitar, keyboards and vocals. Alejandro Mateos on drums, bass and Jorge Omar INFUSIONS Moretti INFUSIONS first and then Tito on guitar.
In February 1981 Queen arrives at Stadium Velez, giving 3 mega-concerts and ZAS would be the support group. Although it was an unknown group, made a very professional show and which received some recognition and they would open many doors.
