Mark Sanchez is a Mexican / American football player, playing as the quarterback position for the New York Jets of the NFL. Mark was selected by the Jets in the 2009 NFL Draft with the fifth overall pick. He played college football for the USC Trojans. Sanchez was born and raised in Southern California. He is of Mexican decent, third generation and is a symbol in the Mexican-American community, and role model for young people.
