Los Socios del Ritmo initiated in the summer of 1962 in Campeche, the birthplace of its members. Los Socios del Ritmo have over 40 years of experience, 60 albums, countless hits and awards that have brought them to this point. In the beginning they placed only Ska which is a type of Mexican rock in which Toño Quirazco was the band leader.
Los Socios del Ritmo initially imposed a peculiar style "Romantic Mexican Music" in the early 60's, scoring their first international hit titled "Vamos a platicar".
