Lil Blacky is one of the Inland Empire’s original hip hop artists. Born and raised in Riverside, California he entered the music industry at the age of 16 and has not stopped hustlin. He is a performer, songwriter, sound engineer, graphic designer, A&R and CEO of Pimp Rollin Records. Black’s long awaited 3rd Solo Album. 2007 • “Dedicated to You” is released independently. o 2,000 copies printed and sold. o Songs include: “Wait Forever”, “Missing You”, and “So Beautiful”. 2006 • Featured on Mr. D’s “Gangsters Get Lonely Too”. Receives regular air play on the much popular Art Laboe Show. 2002 • Pimp Rollin Records is born. o Artists consist of Lil Sicko, Pops, Trav and Big Dave. 2001 • First national release “Big Ballin” dropped under Hit-A-Lick Records. o “Big Ballin” earned Lil Blacky a spot on Billboards Top 200 and Top Independent Albums. o Stand out tracks include “Super Baller”, “Somebody Please” and “Lowrider Girl” • “Lowrider Girl” received weekly play "Pocos Pero Locos". A show on Los Angeles 1 hip hop radio station Power 106. • Former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller headed Hit –A-Lick Records and signed Lil Blacky do to the success of his first indie album “World Famous Young & Dangerous”. o Hit-A-Lick was also home to Frost and G’Fellas (Slow Pain, Nino Brown and A.L.T.). 1998 • At the age of 16 Lil Blacky recorded “World Famous Young & Dangerous”. • “World Famous Young & Dangerous” featured production from Fred Wreck, ODM and K-Day mix master Tony G.
