Ismael Santiago dubbed "lettuce" .. had a hard life .. from a young age Ismael love tropical music, singing, and writing songs. At 14 years of age, he had to choose between his family or the decicion follow music which his family did not like. He kept listening to this type of music until one day with luck he formed his own band with friends who played together with him in dance halls, parties and other social gatherings. Sinc then Ismael started to sound very good and had several hit song which people from his region identified themselves with.
