Kilo Brown was born in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas, his family relocated to New Mexico after his father was incarcerated for drug trafficking. Kilo Brown began rapping at the age of 15 and was soon asked to join a local rap group. Kilo Brown knew that he had what it took to pursue music full time and decided it was time to launch his solo career. Kilo Brown released two solo projects, Southwest Gangsta and Hood Hop.
