Kapanga is an Argentine rock band that blends various genres such as the quartet, rock, and reggae, among others. It was formed in 1989 in the town of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Kapanga is one of the most popular rock bands in the Argentine national. Amilcar Gilabert provided them record their first album fiándoles money in 1996 and recovered when the disc was sold. EMI was interested and asked some subjects. Thus was born ""El Mono Relojero" and closed contract with the company. In 1997 they released their first album, ""A 15 centímetros de la Realidad", which includes Me Mata, Agujita de Oro, Ramón y El Mono Relojero, among others. With their debut album, Kapanga got to be the only national group that could get a gold record in 1998, after selling more than 32 thousand copies in less than a year....
