In less then a year of forming the band, Grupo Escotla has taken the city by surprise.
In the past year, Grupo Escolta has prefromed in the most well known show of Mexican music including "La Invasion de Corridos" an even organize by La Que Buena 105.5 in Los Angeles.
They won the "Grupo Norteño Mas Chakaloso" award at Los Premios de la Calle as well. An even designed to show local underground talent. As well as a recent event called El Marco which was heled in the city of San Diego, California where they performed along Los Tucanes de Tijuana and other recognize bands. This event was organized by one of the radios major southern California La Mejor 99.3.
