The saxophonist Fito Olivares and his band La Pura Sabrosura, attended by his brothers Javier on vocals and Jaime on keyboards, born and raised in Ciudad Camargo, Tamaulipas, later moved to Houston, Texas in 1977. Three years later they formed the group.
At first the band was turning the music of bolero and chicanas, but due to the demand of the people, they totally changed to cumbia, finding there the road that lead to success. |
