Efren Aguilar Bernal, known as El Tigrillo Palma 'was born in San Sebastian, Sinaloa, Mexico. He discovered his love for singing when he was six years old, and the at ten recorded his first album with the group 'Los Vaqueritos de El Baral', a group he formed with his sister.
Efren then lived in Mexico City to publicize their music, a goal that managed to successfully present in the main squares in Mexico and USA. Along with his brother Caesar they formed a duet 'The Aguilares' and manged to record two albums.
