Andres Marquez, "El Macizo", was born in Huejucar, Jalisco, Mexico where he lived until age 7 in which he absorbed the beautiful culture of his people. From childhood he was very toned and sang acapella the songs his father taught him, showing off his special gift.
At seven years of age he returned with his family to Los Angeles, California, where he combined his studies with great desire to engage in singing and realizing his dream.
