Conjunto Alacranero has been in existence for over three years which originated in house of a member who plays the sax. They group initially went with the name, ""Juventud De Durango" which resulted in a few problems since a couple of the founding members went their separate. A year later a few of the original members decided to return to form the group again but with a new name which was christened "Conjunto Alcaranero" with which they are prepared to record their second album called "Cuando Pienso En Ti"
