Aniceto Molina, originally from the town of El Campano, Colombia, began his musical career at the age of 12 playing the accordion. As the years passed he toured and recorded throughout Central America. From 1973 to 1984 he lived in Mexico and during this time he recorded albums and toured extensively throughout Mexico, specially with the group Luz Roja de San Marcos, from San Marcos, Guerrero. Aniceto Molina is very known in El Salvador because his wife is Salvadorian and Cumbia is the most popular genre in El Salvador which in some of his songs says the name El Salvador and he even made a song called El Peluquero ...
